By finalizing a booking and completing payment with Travel Guide, all guests acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions. Travel Guide (Pty) Ltd is a business in the tourism industry that markets accommodation, tours, and activities.

Rates & Pricing

  • Rates cover scheduled or private services as specified in your "Included" section.
  • Some quoted rates may exclude mandatory Government fees (National Park fees and Bridge Levies). These are subject to change without notice and must be paid upon arrival.
  • Rates for services provided by external suppliers are subject to change. Supplier-specific Terms & Conditions will supersede those of Travel Guide for all third-party products.
  • Meals (unless specified), premium drinks (unless specified), tips/gratuities, and items of a personal nature are not included.

Booking & Payment Policy

  • All bookings must be submitted in writing via email or our website, including full names, nationalities, guest count, dietary needs, and hotel pick-up details.
  • A booking is only deemed "Confirmed" once a valid voucher guarantee or full payment is received. Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 days and delivery confirmed by way of a booking voucher / e-ticket.
  • Full payment is required prior to the service date. All bank transfer fees are for the sender's account. A 3.5% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions.
  • Bookings are held for 14 days (or 48 hours if within 30 days of the service). Travel Guide reserves the right to release any unconfirmed bookings.

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing to our reservations department.
  • We have a flexible cancellation policy that most experiences can be cancelled +24 hours in advance depending on the number of pax in context and the excursion thereof.
  • Full refunds (less bank fees) may be considered in cases of proven medical emergencies or immediate family bereavement (spouse/child).
  • Cancellations due to weather are at the sole discretion of Travel Guide and the supplier in context.

Child Policy

  • Children below the age of 12 years are eligible for a 50% Discount on selected activities.
  • Discounted rates apply as per our "Child Discount Policy." Children must travel with an adult and provide ID for age verification.

General Liabilities

  • Travel Guide is not responsible for guest passports, visas, travel permits, insurance, health certificates, or country-specific health/Covid-19 entry requirements.
  • Travel Guide reserves the right to cancel bookings from resellers who use misleading marketing or misrepresent Travel Guide's original content as their own.
