The Gorge Swing

The Lookout Café in Victoria Falls is the base for the exhilarating Wild Horizons High Wire Activities, which are set high up on the spectacular cliffs of the Batoka Gorge, overlooking the Zambezi River.

This is considered the ultimate adrenaline rush. Participants leap off a platform on the edge of the cliff and go into a 70-meter free-fall straight down toward the gorge. After the free-fall, the rope catches and you swing out in a massive arc across the gorge, up to 95–100 meters wide, high above the river rapids. The activity takes place approximately 120 meters above the Zambezi River. This can be done solo or in tandem.
