The Bungee Jump

Gallery · 8 photos

This is not just your typical bungee jump; it's an exhilarating and beautiful plunge into a natural wonder, situated right on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The jump is 111 meters (364 feet) high, offering approximately 4 seconds of pure freefall toward the Zambezi River. The jump takes place from the center of the historic Victoria Falls Bridge, which spans the Batoka Gorge. The backdrop is the thunderous spray of Victoria Falls, making it arguably the most scenic bungee jump in the world. After the rush of the freefall, the cord catches, pulling the jumper back up into a series of exhilarating bounces. While the bungee is calibrated not to touch the water, the spray from the rapids often reaches the jumper.
