Boma Dinner

Gallery · 7 photos

The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show is one of the most famous evening experiences in Victoria Falls. Located at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge resort, it is much more than just a meal; it's a high-energy, immersive celebration of Zimbabwean culture, food, and music. The evening is designed to be theatrical from the moment you step through the door. Guests are traditionally greeted with a chitenje (a traditional colorful sarong) wrapped around their waist. You are invited to take part in a hand-washing ceremony and a small taste of traditional local beer before being led into the large, open-air dining area. The restaurant is partially open to the night sky, centered around a large fire pit, creating a warm, communal "village" feel. The experience typically starts at 19:00 and lasts until about 22:00.
